Healthy Summer Snacking

It is so easy to get downright grumpy when you are unable to find a snack that is easily accessible, healthy, and also kills the craving. Often times during the summer we tend to slack off from healthy eating habits as a result of convenience and the lack of routine in our day. It is also rather difficult to eat the right amount of snacks a day when you don’t plan ahead. It is essential that one understands the importance of the food content you put in your body and how it contributes to your daily activity. Below is list of easy, budget conscious, yummy snacks that are sure to please you anytime of the day. We encourage each of you to replace that one high sugar/sodium snack for one healthy snack each day! We challenge you to prepare a snack that his high in fiber and includes a good amount of protein.
